You deserve to travel the world on your own.

So many women dream of traveling the world -- but for various reasons, it doesn't happen.

Nobody will go with you. Life gets busy. Another year passes, and you're no closer to visiting Paris, or Thailand, or New Zealand.

And it doesn't help that the media constantly hammers the fasle narrative that it's dangerous for a woman to travel the world alone.

But it doesn't have to be that way.

Hi! I'm Kate McCulley.

Since 2010, I've been teaching women how to stay safe when traveling around the world.

Now I've created a webinar that shares everything I know with all of you.

15 years of solo travel knowledge distilled into a 90-minute presentation.

That's me traveling solo in Guatapé, Colombia!

Does this sound like you?

  • "I always thought I would travel the world someday, but it's never happened. And now I wonder if I ever will."
  • "I love the idea of traveling alone, but everyone says it's not safe for a woman and I wouldn't know what to do."
  • "I've traveled before, but I've made some big mistakes and now I'm wondering if I would make bigger ones if I went by myself."
  • "My parents would be so worried if I traveled alone. And I don't know how to deal with that."

That used to be me.

My first solo trip ever was a weeklong trip to Buenos Aires in 2008. I had planned the trip meticulously. It would be perfect!

And on my first day, my wallet was stolen. (Why? I was using a big purse with a gaping opening. Anyone could easily grab a wallet from it, and some dude decided to take advantage.)

I was a mess. This trip was a test to see if I could handle solo travel. And on the first day (the FIRST DAY!) I was alone in a country with no credit cards and no money.

But you know what? I survived. I called my credit card company and they wired money to a Western Union that I picked up with my passport. The rest of the trip was a joy.

Today I teach the mistakes that I made on that trip -- and many, many other mistakes I've made on my travels -- with my readers.

And I am teaching a LOT of those mistakes in my new webinar, which will be released March 1.

Beanie, UK

"Kate, in my eyes, is a near perfect travel blogger for three reasons:

She is completely 100% honest, without scaremongering; her blog is personal, offering stories and experiences that could never be found in a guide book; her posts are eternally useful with tips and details to help you find the confidence to travel anywhere."

Crys, USA

"No one tackles the uncomfortable and difficult subjects like Kate does. I think she makes me a more aware and ethical traveler. It’s a complete bonus that reading her is like manifesting that wickedly intelligent, hilarious well-traveled friend we would all love to have."
